It Takes A Village…

As a no-kill, nonprofit rescue, we rely on the kindness of our community to help us provide safe shelter, medical care, food, supplies, love, and second chances to cats and kittens who need us most. Some arrive as tiny orphaned kittens. Some are retired mommas ready for a peaceful new life. Others need medical treatment, time to heal, socialization, or a little extra patience before they are ready for adoption.

There are many ways to help. You can volunteer your time, foster cats or kittens in your home, donate supplies, contribute toward vet bills, or make a general donation to help cover the daily care and needs of the cats while they are with us. Every bag of food, every clean blanket, every dollar toward medical care, and every hour given helps us continue this work.

You can also support Kitty Kottage by purchasing branded merchandise, sharing our adoptable kitties, and following, liking, and sharing our posts on social media. Even a simple share can help a cat find the perfect home, connect us with a foster, or bring in the support needed for urgent care.

However you choose to help, you become part of the rescue. Your support gives cats and kittens safety, comfort, healing, and the chance to be loved.

Volunteer Your Time

Fostering Cats and Kittens

Fostering is one of the most powerful ways to help Kitty Kottage Dothan save more lives. When you open your home to a cat or kitten in need, you give them a safe, loving place to grow, heal, socialize, and prepare for adoption.

Foster homes are especially important for tiny kittens, nursing mommas, shy cats, and kitties who need extra care outside the shelter environment. Every foster placement creates more space for us to help another cat in need. By fostering, you are not just caring for one life — you are helping us make room to rescue many more.

Donate Toward Veterinary Care

Many of the cats and kittens who come to Kitty Kottage Dothan need medical care before they are ready for adoption. Some need routine exams, vaccines, spay or neuter surgery, and preventatives, while others need treatment for illness, injury, infections, or emergency situations.

Donations made directly toward our veterinary bills help us say “yes” when a cat needs care. Every contribution helps cover the medical treatment that gives these kitties a chance to heal, grow stronger, and find loving homes.
